Currently coordinate copy automatically makes "[x, y]" text, because that works for position and leader values. However, it will be very helpful if it could also make "x y" text for path d attributes.

Also I wonder if it is possible to insert the text directly at the input cursor instead of using the clipboard?

Yes it's possible and now left click and right click insert different formats (ctrl click still copies to clipboard)
